Mountain House Granola with Milk and Blueberries

This video will show our plans for water after SHTF. We have 4 55 Gallon Water Storage Barrel in the basement. We will still filter this water with our Big Berky Gravity Water Filter with 4 black ceramic filters. When we have emptied 2 55 gallon water drums we will put one of the drums in the back of our truck and drive to one of the many ponds and lakes we have in Minnesota. We will use a Wayne PC4 1/2 HP 115-Volt Transfer Water Pump, Cast Iron to get the water into the drum then drive back home and pump the water from the truck drum to the basement.

Torch Fenix TK12 and TK45

Posted: December 17, 2010 in Uncategorized

I upgraded my EDC SureFire flashlight to the Fenix TK12 R5 LED Flashlight. It is twice a bright but a bit longer so it doesn’t fit in my Men’s 5.11 Traditional Tactical Lightweight Cotton Casual Taclite Pro Work Pants.

We also bought the Fenix TK45 High Performance Flashlight. This one will replace the 3 million candle power flashlight we keep in the closet.

This video shows our new purchase of canned cheese and canned butter. This will be added to our long term food storage in our basement.

Featured in this video is Red Feather Canned Cheese, clarified butter / ghee & canned butter.

* Honda EU2000iA generator
* Extended Fuel System 6 gallon
* DC Charging Cord
* Storage Cover
* Parallel Cable — In case I get another generator.
* With our 2 trucks 44 gallon and gas cans on hand we have 125 gallons of gas
* The generator can run for 20 days on full output (1 gallon = 4 hours of 1,300 watt- 1,850 watt output). This is needed for the 1,500 watt heater in the winter.
* If the output is 400 watts or less the generator will run 26 hours on 1 gallon
* Blitz 11010 5 Gallon Steel Gas Can
* Reliance Controls THP103 AmWatt Generator Appliance Wattage/Amps Load Tester
* OnGuard 5018HD Beast Chain Bicycle Lock (160cm x 11mm) to lock up the generator when used outside.
*Wireless motion sensor and audio mic and speaker next to the generator outside.
* If we still have gas but no power I have rigged an inline plug that I can hook up to the generator to have the blower motor still engage.
