We were able to rework the layout of our storage shelves in the basement and were able to fit 4 more 18″x48″ units.

nice lay out but you should put in 5 foot by 5 foot bomb shelter in basement I did and i tell you what I feel a hell of a lot safer with that in my basement but my house is 3450 Sf
so just putin that out there it is a good idea I would say min coast about 3800 bucks but hey never Russia is a loose cannon.

Great set up! I recommend you save all the cans and bottles. Aluminum cans to be made into passive solar air heaters. And the 2 liter bottles can be cleaned out and turned into water bottles or cut the base off, turn them over, and made into a upside down bottles garden system with the cap off to drain water.

As of today, the US Dollar is down about 10% in 3-4 months. Prepare like there is no normal tomorrow!!!

Inspiring to watch. Thanks for the tremendous effort you put forth, not only to prep, but to share your techniques and outcomes. Again, thank you.

I have a question, and I apologize if the answer is elsewhere on your site. Where did you purchase the steel shelving (the tall ones) and about how much did it cost you?

    Again, many thanks.

You can find them at stores like Menards, Lowes & Home Depot. You should be able to find them for under $100. Watch out for ones that are cheaper. You will get less shelves.
